Automated Chest Compression System into Service

ESD 4 Board of Commissioners have purchased a new piece of medical equipment to be used by our EMS Service Provider. The Defibtech Automated Chest Compression System is intended for use as an adjunct to manual cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) when effective manual CPR is not possible (e.g. during patient transport, or extended CPR when fatigue may prohibit the delivery of effective/consistent compressions to the pulseless patient, or when insufficient personnel is available to provide effective CPR).
